The Plus Word module is an extension of the Plus Workflow system, which enables users to edit documents in the MS Word application and version them in the Plus Workflow system without the need to save them on the local computer disc.

Thanks to the Plus Word module, the user can edit a document managed in the Plus Workflow system directly in the MS Word application. The file saving is performed directly in the Plus Workflow system, so there is no need to re-enter the file into the system.

In addition, the module allows users to view the list of all versions of the edited document and compare or open any version of the file.

Characteristics

Once the Plus Word module is installed, it will be available in the MS Word menu – there will be visible a new icon representing a module.

The module management panel is divided into two sections:

  • Actions, in which are available the following buttons:
    • Save in Plus Workflow – saves changes in the document and sends it to the Plus Workflow system as a new version;
    • Show versions – displays a table of all versions of the document located in the Plus Workflow system;
    • Open the system – opens the default browser tab containing the Plus Workflow system from which the document originated.
  • User, in which are available the following buttons:
    • Log in – opens the login panel of the Plus Workflow system;
    • Log out – allows users to log out of the Plus Workflow system.

  • License – for the server, unlimited number of processes, and documents,
  • The component is designed for the Plus Workflow system,
  • The component is an extension of the Plus Workflow system.
